About us
Welcome to our Palm Beach Forest Bathing and Nature Therapy Meetup Group! This Meetup offers an immersive experience in nature that gives you an opportunity to reset your outlook on life and have an encounter with the natural world in a way that you have never experienced before.
It is a sensory practice that takes you away from your phone and computer and back to what your body yearns for…..a connection with nature. A sense of peace. A sense of relaxation. A sense of being in the present moment. It provides the perfect time to become a human “be”ing instead of a human “do” ing!
During a Forest Bathing experience, you will be invited to slow down and reconnect with nature’s perfect balance using your senses to see the sunlight playing through the leaves, smell the flowers, and feel and hear the gentle wind whispering to you to return to your native roots and discover your deeper self.
Whether you're a seasoned forest bathing enthusiast or curious to learn more, this group welcomes all nature lovers seeking harmony and well-being. Let's explore the wonders of nature together!

Forest Bathing & Nature Therapy Immersion
Mounts Botanical Garden, 531 N Military Trl, West Palm Beach, FL, USHi Nature Lover!
A NEW TIME for Forest Bathing Immersions at Mounts Botanical Gardens 🌿
Saturday, August 8 and Saturday, August 15
5:30–7:30 PM
Forest Bathing, also known as “Nature Therapy,” is an immersive experience in nature that gives you an opportunity to reset your outlook on life and have an encounter with the nature in a way that you have never experienced before. As the heat of the day softens and the golden light begins to settle over the gardens, something beautiful happens!
The breeze becomes gentler. The flowers release their fragrance into the evening air. Every leaf seems to glow a little greener after the summer rains. Nature slows its pace and quietly invites us to do the same.
For two peaceful hours, you'll be guided through a series of simple invitations that awaken your senses and help you reconnect with the natural world and also with yourself.
There is no agenda to accomplish, no destination to reach, and no need to "do" anything. Just breathe. Listen. Notice. Wonder.
In a world that asks us to hurry, this is an opportunity to simply ”be.”Come experience the quiet magic of Mounts Botanical Gardens at dusk. You may leave with lighter shoulders, a calmer mind, and a heart that remembers what it feels like to belong to the Earth.
Nature has been waiting for you!
Here's what you can expect on a Forest Bathing/Nature Therapy Immersion:
~ A guided sensory visualization
~ A series of invitations that will help you connect with nature in a way that you have never done before
~ A tea Ceremony with tea made slash pine tree needles
~ An opportunity to connect with other like-minded nature lovers
Forest Bathing has been scientifically proven to boost immune strength, lift depression, reduce stress, and improve sleep. But beyond these physiological changes, this contemplative experience will show you how important it is for your well-being to take time in nature on a daily basis!
Mounts Botanical Gardens are located at 531 Military Trail in West Palm Beach.Plan to arrive at 5:15 PM, allowing yourself a little time to transition into the peaceful rhythm of the evening before we begin together at 5:30 PM. Bring a chair or yoga mat. (I can provide one if necessary.)
Cost: $25 for Mounts Botanical Gardens members / $35 for non-members includes FREE entry to the Gardens. Arrive a little early and wander through the Gardens at your own pace, letting the beauty of nature begin to quiet your mind and open your senses.
The Meet-Up will not be held if it is raining or bad weather is eminent. To get up-to-date information if the Meetup will be held, text Kathy Andio at 561.236.4298.
It is best to pre-register with the Mounts Botanical Gardens. If for some reason, you cannot attend, they are REALLY good at refunding your fee. However, contact them not me for a refund. Also, if you pre-register, you will receive notification of any changes of the event.
