What we’re about
The purpose of this group is to bring people with an interest in the stock market together to share experiences, ideas, and to help each other. Although in-person activities are intended for people who live in the North Phoenix, Glendale, North Peoria and West Valley, anyone in the Greater Phoenix, AZ who is able to travel to this region are welcome to attend. And our online activities are open to anyone nationwide of course.
We are planning to have online meetings and webinars, as well as in-person gatherings at various locations (libraries, coffee shops, community centers, hotel conference rooms, open areas such as parks, etc).
We are interested in meeting people at all experience levels when it comes to investing and trading in the stock market. We will talk about and share experiences in long term investing and positional trading, as well as swing trading and day trading.
Fundamental Analysis, Technical Analysis, Stock Selection, Trading Strategies, and investing in Mutual Funds and ETFs will be discussed. Although the main focus is the stock market, other investment and trading options can also be covered, such as bonds, commodities, futures, options and cryptocurrency. Even Real Estate investment can be a topic of discussion from time to time, especially in terms of how it compares to the financial markets as an investment vehicle.
Plan is to have informative sessions such as webinars or in-person presentations where members can share knowledge and experience with each other, as well as informal chats and discussions among group members outside of these sessions.
Helping each other grow in investing and trading, while meeting other people with similar interests in a social setting for personal connections and networking is another objective of the group.
