Africa Charlotte is a celebration of African American and African culture. Come learn, dance, drum and sing with distinguished African and American Artists!

Africa Charlotte was made possible, in part, with funding from ASC, and the N.C. Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural & Cultural Resources.

This workshop will feature Seny Daffe.

This event is open to ALL ages 5 and up!

Classes are:
$10 - kids
$20 - adults drop in
$50 - weekend
$10 - drum rental

FRIDAY:

7P - 8P: Welcome Reception & Lecture plus Q & A (free)

8:15pm - 9:45pm: Guinean African Dance class

SATURDAY:

4:00pm - 5:30pm: Dun Drum Dance class [Drum Rentals Available]

6 pm - 8pm: West African Song & Dance Class
