Baba Abubakr Kouyate, a master drummer with over 40 years of performing and teaching experience, has been teaching us the complex, multipart rhythms of Guinea and Mali. From your first meetup, even if you've never drummed before, you are playing a part in a group where every person has a special part to play. The rhythms are amazingly rich and syncopated.
