This is our most popular event of the year. Past Speakers coming back to tell you what they learned in 2025 and what they are changing in 2026. We are going to have 7 or 8 past speakers have a turn telling you what their main take aways are from this year and what they are changing next year. This is always great information to hear at the end of the year, but particularly this year with so many changes in the market. YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS ONE.
Speakers
Emile Hurst Jnr
As the founder and host of the Westbank Real Estate Investor meetup Emile is normally asking the questions but we will turn the mic on him to see what his main lessons were for 2025. Emile has done over 300+ real estate transactions, is a Realtor, Investor and founder of LeaseCo tenant placement service so we are exited to hear what he is focusing on in 2026.

Steve is a serial Entrepreneur who grew a tech company to over 300 employees which ended up listing on the Australian Stock Exchange with a market capitalization of $315 Million. He went on to found Home Buyer Louisiana which has wholesaled over 225 properties in South Louisiana and he is also a BRRRR investor with 27 rental properties (36 doors). Hear what Steve learnt this year and what he is focused on in 2026
Machi Medrzycki
Machi is an award winning Residential & Commercial contractor as well being a developer and landlord in Greater New Orleans. It's been 2 years since he spoke at the meetup so I am excited to hear about his lessons from 2025 and what his focus is for 2026.
Stephen Leonard
Stephen manages around 300 properties in Greater New Orleans (and owns around 100 himself) so knows what is going on in the rental market. He has also spoke about investing outside of Louisiana the last couple of years and he recently pulled the trigger on that. I am excited to hear what he learnt in 2025 and what his focus is for 2026 and I am guessing if you are in real estate you will be as well.
Winton Jackson Sr
Winton is a full time real estate investor and entrepreneur. He flips, holds rentals and runs a flooring and trucking company. He shared a lot of knowledge when he was the speaker in 2024 and we are excited to get him back to hear about his main lessons in 2025 and his focus for 2026.
Michael Harrison Jnr
Michael has a large rental portfolio with the majority free and clear, is an active flipper and has wholesaled consistently for many years. He built this business with the safety of a W2 job, which he decided to quit recently. We are looking forward to hearing what his lessons from 2025 and what his focus for 2026 is as a full time real estate investor.
Mike Fernandez
Mike is a Realtor, Property Manager, Landlord, flipper and BRRRR investor. Last time we spoke he had just quit his W2 job to pursue his real estate businesses full time and now he has a year under his belt as a full time property investor and business owner. I think his lessons from the year will be really interesting
Chris Gernard
Chris is a very experienced investor across various asset classes. From Fix and Flips, to Self Storage, STRs and Buy and Hold. He opened a boutique hotel in Jefferson parish this year and I can't wait to hear what his main lessons were from 2025 and what his focus is for 2026..
We look forward to seeing you there.
Agenda as follows:
6:30 pm: Doors Open/Networking
6:45 pm: Interviews
8:30pm After meeting drinks at Gattuso's Neighborhood Restaurant
You are welcome to come whether you are trying to go from 0-1st deal or deal 1,000 - 1001. We will have a needs and wants section where you can tell the room if you have something to offer or are looking for something. Whether that's an off-market deal, hard money, contractors, partners etc.
Our speakers aren't selling anything and neither are the organizers. We just want to get the West Bank property investing community networking and talking as we believe that will benefit everyone.
We are grateful for the support of Lease Co and Home Buyer Louisiana that helped cover some of the costs of the event through their generous sponsorship
