In 2023, James Dargan performed “Oh, Glory!” In our hall. Now, Westchester Community for Ethical Culture is delighted to host a return to our home of this renowned singer (and philosopher!) and his brilliant accompanist, Jes Oriste, in a performance of “Oh, Glory 2!”
The compelling program is a lively exploration of the work of various black composers and poets and how their arts have been creatively combined.
The overriding message of the show is that musical and racial “boxes” are entirely irrelevant, unnecessary, and unwanted. Yes, our lives are all different, and, yes, all of our lives and experiences are valid!
