At a time when so many of our democratic principles are being challenged, and often violated, it is important to review and be reminded of the fundamental precepts of our democracy. Professor Jerry Goldfeder is in a unique position to do just that. His remarks are certain to stimulate pride and a renewed dedication to the systems that we cherish.

Professor Jerry Goldfeder has been practicing election and campaign finance law in the United States for over 40 years, representing high-profile elected officials, including members of the United States Senate and the House of Representatives.
Since 2003, he has taught Election Law at Fordham Law School, where he has been honored twice with the prestigious Adjunct Professor of the Year award, and from 2009 to 2019, he also taught at the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
Professor Goldfeder currently serves as Chair of the American Bar Association’s Election Law Committee and Director of Fordham Law School's Voting Rights and Democracy Project. He also serves on the New York City Bar Association's Rule of Law Task Force, and the Task Force for American Democracy.
