Tara's Bluegrass Jam

We meet up to play bluegrass music! I perform, record, and teach bluegrass music professionally. I teach mandolin and guitar and have also taught bluegrass jammin' at many festivals, camps, and privately. I recently have moved from my home-state of Virginia to Hastings on Hudson, NY and have made some musician friends, done gigs, and have been teaching students in this area. I have been running a Bluegrass Jam as well as a Swing Jazz and Gyspy Jazz jam. Folks are also very welcome to join who do not play music, but are interested in coming out to hear some bluegrass music sometimes. I have the regular Bluegrass Jam which can be some pretty hot playing and is fun to watch and to dance to sometimes. I also sometimes offer some Slow Jam Workshops for folks less confident on material to get to try easy songs at a slow pace.
