About us
We meet up to play bluegrass music! I perform, record, and teach bluegrass music professionally. I teach mandolin and guitar and have also taught bluegrass jammin' at many festivals, camps, and privately. I recently have moved from my home-state of Virginia to Hastings on Hudson, NY and have made some musician friends, done gigs, and have been teaching students in this area. I have been running a Bluegrass Jam as well as a Swing Jazz and Gyspy Jazz jam. Folks are also very welcome to join who do not play music, but are interested in coming out to hear some bluegrass music sometimes. I have the regular Bluegrass Jam which can be some pretty hot playing and is fun to watch and to dance to sometimes. I also sometimes offer some Slow Jam Workshops for folks less confident on material to get to try easy songs at a slow pace. I may also start offering workshops on individual instrument groups like guitar, or banjo, or fiddle, etc. I teach mandolin and guitar to all levels and ages also so if you want a private lesson(s) message me and that is also an option. Here is my website if you want to see and find out more about me, some projects I have done, listen to/watch some video clips, get my direct email contact etc. www.TaraLinhardt.com

Mando Camp North
Location not specified yetI will be teaching along with an amazing group of top notch mandolin instructors at Mando Camp North this April in Massachusetts! This is a jam packed weekend of great learning opportunities, opportunities to make great new friends with a common interest in mandolins, fantastic jam sessions, and also mando- focused stage performances. This is going to be my first time attending Mando Camp North also. I have heard so many wonderful things about it. Here is the website with details about Registrations and the camp. https://musiccampsnorth.com/2026-mc-bc-registration-information/
What a great opportunity to immerse ourselves in mandolin stuff for a whole weekend! I will be teaching 5 different classes I believe on a variety of topics, which will be listed along with the classes of the other teachers for that weekend.
They do have housing there, or I think you might also be able to stay nearby. Here is their general information page.
