Pawling Nature Reserve - Mt Laurels and the Rhodis Bloom

Details

You are invited to join us for an 8-mile hike, which will take about 5 hours. We will meet at 996 NY-22 (Approx #), Pawling, NY 41.59443, -73.58682 at 8:30 AM. This is just north of Native Landscapes. Hoping that the Mt Laurels and the Rhodis are in bloom for a gorgeous hike. We will start the hike from here and climb about 600 feet over the course of 2 miles to Hammersby Ridge. The trail will "flatten" after that climb and we will start to meander through the Pawling Nature Reserve. There are a few shortish ups and downs inside the Reserve. Recent rain will result in puddles, mud and slippery boards. Make sure you check for ticks after the hike!
