Croton Point Park -BEGINNER HIKE

We are going to try a Beginner Hike Again -

To the best of my knowledge, we are the ONLY area hiking group to feature hikes at all levels for almost 15 years.

Note - Beginner hikes tend to have dropout rates of up to 75% - buck the meetup trends - if you sign up -please try to attend.

Croton Point Park - One of the easiest ones I can offer - it is not 100% flat, but there is minimal elevation here,

Estimated Distance -Around 4 miles - if I have an experienced group, I might be able to stretch that out a little bit

When you get to the booth - (no fee after Labor Day) make a quick right - go up to Pavillion 2 -which is a very large lot

What to bring - dress in layers - there is usually a breeze here - hat - water-snacks

Estimated Group Size - I generally like to cap at or around 30 - we hike as one group - no sweeps -less drama

If you are directionally challenged, please allow some buffer time in your travel plans - the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the one or few.
