Thanksgiving Morning Hike at Rockefeller State Park - 8:30AM
Details
Start your holiday off with a morning hike. Please join me for a 1.5 - 2.0 hour moderate hike. Then you can eat whatever you want!
Contact: Dave 914-584-0124
Terrain: Easy to moderate, mainly rolling hills.
Distance: Most likely 4-5ish miles.
Pace: Moderate. We will be walking at a conversational pace with stops at trail intersections to re-group. Please assess your ability to keep this pace before signing up. Feel free to give me a call if you have any questions.
If you're a fast hiker, please be prepared to wait while people catch up, or feel free to go at your own pace.
After an hour, there will be a 10 minute shortcut back to the parking lot if you want to do a shorter hike.
The Parking lot is located on the south side of Route 117 approximately halfway between Route 9A to the East and Route 9 to the West. There are gates and stone walls at the entrance, a large horse-trailer parking lot, a little toll booth, a visitors center and a bathroom building. We will meet in front of the restroom building.
Parking fee - $6
