What we’re about
Western Women 55+ is a group of married, divorced, widowed and single women 55+ (if you are not 55+, but don’t mind hanging with older women, please feel free to join) who meet primarily in the western suburbs for happy hour, music, movies, volunteering, outdoor activities, trips and of course lots and lots of conversation.
This is a group where friendships are being established, however newcomers are always welcome.

It's time for a cruise on Lake Minnetonka from the Port of Excelsior.
PLEASE purchase your ticket as soon as you sign up to go so we know how many people will be coming.Take an exciting “South of the border” Margarita Fiesta cruise on Lake Minnetonka while enjoying a build-your-burrito bowl buffet and drink specials with a full bar available. Cash or Credit accepted.
We'll meet at Haskell's Port of Excelsior at 1 Water Street in Excelsior @ 3:45 to group up and have a drink or two before we board the ship. Haskell's is across the street from the docks. ***If you are not able to meet us at the bar, no problem. Just let us know, and we will meet you at the port by 4:45 to board the ship.
There is currently a great deal on Groupon. This deal comes and goes so grab it while you can. Just go onto: www.Groupon.com and search Paradise Charter Cruises, and you should see the option (scroll down) to buy one ticket for the 2-hour dining and sightseeing cruise at $28.20 (regularly $48). Everyone is responsible for purchasing their own ticket. Don't wait too long, or the boat may fill up. After you purchase your Groupon, just follow the link that takes you to the Paradise Cruise website. Then click on Lake Minnetonka cruise, choose August 11th, then scroll down to the Margarita Fiesta Cruise from 6 to 8 pm. (I did it on my phone, might be different on their website). Fill out all the information, except the credit card #. Enter the redemption code from your Groupon in the Redemption Code space. For group name, enter "Western Suburbs Women." The cost should come up as $0.00. Hit "submit," and you should be good to go. You will get a confirmation email.
