Wanna hike the East Rock Creek to Rock Creek loop in gorgeous Canyons of the Ancients? It'll be a rolling 6.8 miles, and is easy to moderate terrain.
Afterwards (if there's interest) we can get a snack and glass of wine across the road at Sutcliffe Winery https://www.sutcliffewines.com
We'll meet at the west Sand Canyon trailhead (approximately 15 miles west of Cortez, up McElmo Canyon, G road) at 9:30. (There are 2 trailheads for Sand Canyon, FYI, and we're meeting at the west-most).
So far the weather for Monday looks clear, with a starting temperature in the mid 50s and a high in the low 60s.
Bring what you need--water? sunscreen?
