What we’re about
This is a group for film lovers. We'll keep things open, but we'll be more focused in independent, arthouse, classic and foreign films than the latest Hollywood blockbusters. Venues will include arthouse cinemas, like the Laemmle and Landmark chains, revival houses like the Nuart, New Beverly, and Aero, and even multiplexes. Anywhere showing interesting new or classic films is fair game.
I mentioned "Westside" in the name since that's where I live and where most of the theaters I frequent are located. But, we won't necessarily be limited by that and may venture further into the Eastside, Valley, or wherever the best screenings are occurring.
Suggestions for specific films or venues are always welcome.
