Welcome to "What Did I Miss?" Edition I: The first of an hour-ish meetup built around catching the news stories you almost missed by hearing about the ones others found. We'll meet in San Francisco, at either a cafe, library, or park, depending on timing and availability. Each attendee will summarize the piece they believe needs more airtime, explain why they are sharing, and engage in lively discussion with others.

We’re keeping the first gathering small so everyone has a chance to participate, so completing the form is required to be considered for a spot. The form takes about 2–3 minutes and asks about what you read/watch, what you’d like to get out of the group, and one piece of news that caught your attention recently.
