What Did I Miss? - Edition I

There’s more news and information out there than anyone can reasonably keep up with. What Did I Miss? is a small discussion group built around sharing some of the things we each came across during the week.
Everyone will bring one article, video, podcast, or other piece of news they found interesting. You’ll give the group a rundown of what you brought, what you learned from it, and why you thought it was worth sharing. From there, we’ll ask questions and spend more time on the topics the group wants to dig into.
The goal is to leave having learned about a few things you probably wouldn’t have come across yourself, hear how other people are thinking about them, and meet some interesting people in SF.

What to bring
Come with one piece from the past ~month that you’d like to share. Any subject is fair game and articles, videos, and podcasts are all welcome as long as there’s a credible source behind them. Be ready to give everyone a short summary and answer a few questions about it.

What to expect
Edition 1 will run for about an ~hour. We’ll spend the first few minutes on introductions and explaining the format, then go around and hear what everyone brought. After that, we’ll spend the remaining time on the stories and questions the group wants to discuss further. We’ll wrap up with a few minutes for feedback and thoughts for the next edition.

RSVP and confirmation
RSVPing on Meetup is the first step, but an RSVP by itself does not confirm a spot. After you RSVP, please complete the short intake form linked here. We're keeping Edition 1 relatively small so everyone has a chance to participate, and the intake form is required to be considered for attendance.
Your spot is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from wdim.sf@gmail.com (feel free to email any questions to here as well). That email will include the final meeting details and anything else you need to know beforehand.

Intake form linked here.

Please note location linked is subject to change and confirmation emails will contain the final location. See you there!
