Hi!  My name is Jo, and this group is about Things YOU Should Know, Too!

‘Ever wish you could get the scoop on seemingly random topics that none-the-less really matter?
Are you a curious life-long learner looking to learn something new?  Perhaps key words in the topics list below attracted you.
Do you find you don’t have time to deep dive subjects that interest you, yet know that knowledge could make life smoother, safer, and a little smarter?
That’s what this MeetUp group is all about!

Together we’ll explore practical, real-world issues from a mix of topics that affect us all — people, pets, and places alike. Because sometimes, what the “Average Jo” knows are things you should know, too!

I’ll offer a variety of “Quick Class” sessions on a myriad of topic.  Each will be an affordable, bite-sized, beginner-friendly, live, online gathering packed with useful info., lively discussions, and dash of fun!

TOPICS INCLUDE:
🦅 Understand your furry friend on a deeper level by looking at key predator / prey distinctions
🏠 Know your civil rights & responsibilities in housing (AKA: fair housing laws)
🐾 Learn to read animal body language
📋 Take a fresh look at housing policies (focused on select apartment & condo / HSA community rules)
🦺 Learn to maintain personal life safety around others’ animals (at your dog park or on the job)
⚡ Bone up on household emergency prep tips
🐾 Prepare for the unthinkable with your animals in mind (for all creatures great & small)

EACH “QUICK CLASS” SESSION:
✅ Stands on its own:  about 40 minutes of learning + 20 minutes of Q&A and discussion
✅ We’ll keep it simple: no prerequisites, no prep work, no assignments, just an easy PayPal payment and the chance to tune in from the comfort of home — (feety jammies are an option!)

Please note that payments are non-refundable, but transferrable -- if you find you can’t make an event you've paid for, you can someone else in your stead by sharing the video conference link and pass code with them.  Sessions are not recorded.
