Cascade STEAM Service Corps

Cascade STEAM Service Corps is a technology training and community service program for social good. Each quarter, student interns and volunteers work closely with mentor technology professionals to help develop and maintain the systems that we utilize for our organization and community programs, including Digital Navigators and HelpDesk.

For both Interns and volunteers, Service Corps includes:

• Mentorship with business and technology professionals
• Computer networking and open source software fundamentals
• Server, network, database, issue tracker, and project management
• Customer service through Digital Navigators, HelpDesk, and other Cascade STEAM programs

Collaboration occurs virtually on the Cascade STEAM Community Hub and on Monday and Saturday evenings in person at the Bellingham Makerspace during Service Corps and Hack Night program events.
