What we’re about
Punjabi Connections– North Chicago Suburbs
💃🏽 Food. Festivals. Full volume fun.
Missing the sound of a dhol in the distance? Craving samose with some solid side-eye gossip? Or just tired of explaining what "balle balle" means?
Welcome to Punjabi Connect – your new go-to crew in Chicago’s northern suburbs.
We’re a social group for fun-loving folks aged 20–40 who vibe with Punjabi culture—whether you’re born in Ludhiana, raised in Lincolnwood, or just love a good giddha.
🎉 What We Actually Do:
Throw down for festivals like Lohri, Diwali, Vaisakhi, etc. (yes, food is involved—lots of it)
Host chai + chat hangouts, movie nights, and bhangra-fueled evenings
Plan potlucks that turn into dance-offs (you’ve been warned)
Laugh, eat, repeat
🙌 What We’re Not:
A serious cultural society
A matchmaking service (though hey, we don’t judge if sparks fly)
Into drama—unless it’s on screen, with subtitles
🎯 Who Should Join:
You’re in your 20s to 40s
You live somewhere in the North ‘burbs (Skokie, Evanston, Glenview, Northbrook, etc.)
You love good food, better company, and celebrating culture with a side of sass
Come for the vibes, stay for the people (and maybe the jalebis).
RSVP to our next event and let's make some punjabi-style noise—in the friendliest way possible.
