What we’re about
Job search can be quite a lonely journey and even more so if you're an expat as one has to in such cases navigate additional unknowns, challenges.
Given the above context, a few key reasons behind doing these meetups include:
1. To overcome the challenges of not getting enough feedback as part of one's job application/interview process by encouraging people to learn from each other's shared experiences as part of one's own job search journey
2. As we speak we're currently navigating a tough job market in Germany and in such times especially we can achieve more together as a unit than individually towards living a life where we can individually fulfill our and our family's needs
3. To offer a safe space for people to be seen, understood & listened such that this can be a community where people feel they truly belong
4. To tap into our being part of one community not just through these meetups but to also follow up afterwards & stay connected by people deciding to share contacts with one & another voluntarily or by people connecting through our 'I am because we are' Discord community(invite link: https://discord.com/invite/Bwp98Pvx2b)
