White Rock-South Surrey Bible Reading

Jonah was a prophet that ran from God and hit rock bottom, but he was offered a new beginning ... which makes this book a great study if you're thinking about making a new beginning with God. Even if you've heard the story of "Jonah and the whale" before, you might be surprised at how much more there is to learn in the full Book of Jonah. Come check out this brief Bible study and see what our group is about! Feel free to join in on any or all of the sessions.

A locust plague like no other. An imminent “Day of the LORD”. A promise of a future pouring out of the Spirit. A judgment of all the nations. How are these things connected by the prophet Joel? Join our online Bible study and let’s talk about it! We see in this Old Testament book that Israel’s experience with judgment and repentance becomes a foundation for understanding how to respond to God’s promises for the future. To help keep this study an ideal size and create the best environment for connection, for now we are limiting additional members of this group to residents of Metro Vancouver only (thanks for understanding!). Please RSVP and a Zoom link will be provided.
