Barry Roberts will teach on Jesus Christ! & Juneteenth June 19 Thursday night, 6:30 PM. Brave Church 3337 N Academy Blvd. Starting at 6:30. Pray and eat at 6:45 PM. Frances and John will serve Jambalaya.
Please bring any appropriate snacks or appetizers or, individual 7.5 ounce sodas to share. Suggestions: Cornbread, Black-Eyed Peas, Candied Yams & Soulful Salads. Juneteenth is a Colorado holiday and a national holiday. Juneteenth is a unique observance in that it is considered the end of the Civil War and the celebration achieved by the 13th Amendment - more than the Emancipation Proclamation, which was more of a war measure. Drink Freedom Fizz. (Strawberry Punch with floating orange and strawberry slices.)
