Phishers of Men Session 2: How Satan Twists Money into a Trap
God wants our hearts—Satan wants us anxious, distracted, and divided. Join us Thursday, July 24 at Frances Farr’s house as we explore how the enemy uses money, greed, and false promises to pull us away from trusting God. Arrive by 6:00 PM. We’ll pray and eat at 6:15 PM. John and Frances will provide Golden Calf Chicken chicken, wings, and drumsticks that are honey glazed, and Liquid Gold Lemonade. Bring a salad or side dish, or 7.5 oz sodas to share. At 7:15 PM, the teaching begins. At 8:15 PM, we’ll enjoy 100 Grand candy bars while discussing your personal experiences with scams or get-rich schemes. Everyone will have a red flag that they can wave at the appropriate times :-) The evening wraps up with final thoughts and prayer by 9:30 PM.
