Betrayal & Redemption: Experience Jesus’s Longest Night

Faith, Failure, and the Father: The Final Hours is a special dinner and movie night hosted at Frances Farr’s house on Sunday, August 3. The event begins at 4:44 PM with prayer and fellowship, followed by dinner at 5:15 PM. John and Frances will serve Sliced Beef Brisket and Hamburger noodles cheese, bacon, casserole. Guests are encouraged to bring a favorite side dish or salad to share. Water bottles and Last Supper Mint Lemonade will be provided, and attendees may bring individual 7.5 oz non-alcoholic sodas for variety. The gathering will feature leftover Passover plates and decorations to set the mood. Before the movie, we will celebrate birthdays with cakes for Christine Lewicki, who enjoys a lemon cake with lemon filling for her July 30 birthday, Jeniene Gonzales, with a New York cheesecake for her August 2 birthday, and Susan Taylor, with a strawberry shortcake for her August 3 birthday. The movie screening includes The Chosen Season 5, Episode 7, The Upper Room, Part I, which centers on the events leading to the Last Supper, particularly Jesus washing the feet of His disciples, followed by Episode 8, The Upper Room, Part II, the season finale that follows Jesus after the Last Supper.
