Don’t Miss This Adventure! South Meadows Camping Trip Aug 7–10. Join us for a fun and refreshing weekend camping trip at South Meadows Campground from Thursday, August 7 to Sunday, August 10! South Meadows Campground is in Teller County, just 5 miles north of Woodland Park (about 55 minutes from Colorado Springs). It's a beautiful forested area with access to hiking trails, fishing, and kayaking. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Potable water and restrooms are available during full-service season. Camping Fees (cash on site): $28 per night per campsite (includes two vehicles), $11 extra for a third vehicle, $11 for day use only. Julie Dunham Summit Life Adventures, will go Thursday & John Sutton will head out Thursday after dropping Frances at the airport. We’ll plan kayaking when weather permits. We’ll also have a campfire, so please bring firewood. Fishing so bring license and gear. Dogs must be leashed (John will be bringing Daisy Frances dog). There are quiet rules and campers get “evicted” if they aren’t quiet. If your dog barks or may bark around dogs it doesn’t know, best to leave it home.
