Gary Crooks will be teaching technology for the Phishers of men, Session 4: Outsmart phishers by securing your computer! –Join us Thursday, August 28 at Frances Farr’s house as we: Learn how passwords guard your digital house, passkeys unlock it with your phone or fingerprint, and two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra lock to keep phishers out. Master these cyber tricks to protect your games and secrets like a pro! We’ll learn how to spot red flags, resist pressure tactics, and guard our hearts with God’s truth. Frances will serve Mission: Impossible-to-Resist Tex-Mex Casserole, a bold casserole with seasoned beef, zesty tomatoes, green chilis, corn, and plenty of melted cheese, all hidden under a Double Agent Cornbread topping. Bring your favorite salads, sides, or 7.5 oz sodas to share. Teaching begins at 7:15 PM. At 8:15 PM we’ll discuss your experiences with scams or spiritual deception while enjoying banana splits for dessert. We’ll share stories of real-life scams.
