City Slickers and Cattle Drive BBQ Dinner This Sunday Join us for a Dinner & Movie Night on Sunday, August 17, at Frances Farr’s home, starting at 4:44 PM. We’ll gather for prayer and dinner at 5:15 PM. John will provide hot dogs; please bring your own protein to grill and a side dish or salad to share. Before the movie, we’ll celebrate Armando Bocanegra’s birthday (Aug 15) with German chocolate or coconut cake. We’ll watch City Slickers (PG-13, 1991, Western/Comedy, 1h 52m), where three friends—Mitch, Phil, and Ed—face a midlife crisis on a thrilling cattle drive led by cowboy Curly. This secular Hollywood film is for entertainment, not Christian values, and is optional for group members who enjoy such movies and want company. If it’s not for you, feel free to skip.
