Join us Thursday, September 4 at Frances Farr’s house as we discuss: Jesus spoke often about Heaven—more than 190 times in the Gospels—because it is the true hope for every believer. Yet Heaven is also one of the most misunderstood promises in Scripture. This week, Barry Roberts will guide us through what the Bible really says about our eternal home: how we get there, what life will be like, and how this hope can reshape the way we live with courage, joy, and purpose today. This Thursday, Barry Roberts will guide us into one of the most exciting and hopeful topics in Scripture: Heaven. What will it really be like? How do we get there, and why aren’t we there already? What will we do—will there be worship, work, rest, and joy? Will we recognize loved ones, and what kind of bodies will we have in the resurrection? Will animals be there? What about rewards, treasures, and responsibilities in eternity? How does the Bible describe Heaven’s beauty, worship, and peace? And most importantly, how can thinking about Heaven now shape the way we live with faith, purpose, and courage today? Frances will serve heavenly heavenly pot roast, and purple, sweet potatoes!
