Fourth Quarter Comeback: Dinner and The Senior at Icon Cinema

Details
Fourth Quarter Comeback: Dinner and The Senior at Icon Cinema. On Tuesday, September 23, join us for dinner and a movie night featuring The Senior (PG, 93 minutes). This inspiring football drama tells the story of Mike Flynt, who at 59 laces up for one last shot to finish the game he started nearly 40 years earlier. We’ll kick off at 5:30 PM with dinner at Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburger (1264 Interquest Pkwy, $10–20). Movie tickets are $6.55 and must be purchased and paid for at dinner by 5:45 PM—no late handoffs. Afterward we head to Icon Cinema (1818 Spring Water Pt) for the 7:00 PM show. Unclaimed tickets will be returned for credit; Icon allows refunds up to one hour prior. Signed up so far: Frances Farr, John Sutton (go Broncos), Jeannie B, Cailee, and Jennifer Nickell. Optional game-day attire: football jerseys or cheerleader outfits—we’ll have pom-poms. Icon offers bottomless popcorn and refillable drinks. At 6:53 PM sunset marks the Feast of Trumpets (Lev. 23:24), a reminder of God’s deliverance and prophetic hope. Dry gathering, no alcohol. Reserve with Frances (541-219-2713) for tickets or John (719-351-7913) for dinner.
