Manual for Godly Living with John Olson
Join us this Thursday, January 29, at Frances Farr’s home for Session 2 of our new interactive Bible study series, Manual for Godly Living, facilitated by John Olson. John is a respected attorney and co-owner of Olson Effertz Lobbying & Consulting in Bismarck, a University of North Dakota School of Law graduate, former Burleigh County State’s Attorney, North Dakota State Senator (Republican minority leader), and 2016 Republican National Convention delegate. He brings sharp insight and deep faith, leading discussions that encourage full participation rather than lecturing, with a focus on living to please God alone. This session explores Redemption: God’s costly act of love through Christ to buy us back from bondage, transforming us from debtors to restored family members with new purpose. Future topics include forgiveness, love, grace, faith, and more. Arrive at 5:55 PM for prayer, followed by dinner at 6:15 PM (Frances and John provide lamb shank, (Lamb, Shank Redemption) roasted garlic potatoes, and asparagus—please bring a salad, side, or unsweetened sparkling drink to share). Worship begins at 7:10 PM, with teaching and discussion from 7:15 to 8:15 PM, ending with a delicious dessert. All are welcome as we grow together in faith. Text John at (719) 351-7913 or Frances at (541) 219-2713 for the address and gate code. Hope to see you there!
