Valentine’s Day Celebration. Potluck dinner and Movie.
Join us Friday, February 13, at Frances Farr’s home for a warm, Dinner and Movie Night centered on fellowship, and God’s heart.
Location: 13645 Random Ridge View use gate code (#9898). Make sure you use the Pound key then number. Dark Chocolate Fountain and Movie of Ruth’s journey. If you choose, you can dress in (Valentine’s) clothing or red. Movie is a Biblical Love Story. Arrive by 4:44 PM. We’ll gather together and recite 1 Corinthians 13 (“Love is patient, love is kind…”). We will eat at 5:15 PM. John will cook up a crockpot of low-carb chili. Bring your favorite main dishes to share (also bring salads, sides, snacks, or individual cans of sparkling water without sugar or fake sugar). No alcohol! Before the movie, we will have a dark chocolate fountain to celebrate Valentine’s Day. We will be dipping fresh fruit into the fountain. At 6:45 PM, we’ll watch a movie, The Story of Ruth (G, 1960, 2h 12m)—an unforgettable tale of love, faith, and courage as Ruth (Elana Eden) chooses loyalty to Naomi, renounces idolatry, and finds redemption and romance with Boaz (Stuart Whitman).
