Tuesday Thrifty Theatre night

Texas Roadhouse Dinner & Hoppers Movie Night – Tuesday, March 10. These are two separate optional events. You are welcome to come to the dinner, the movie, or both.
4:30 PM – dinner at Texas Roadhouse (3120 N Powers Blvd). We will meet for the Early Dine special. Example meal: 6-oz steak, salad, sweet potato, and drink about $16.42 plus tip. Seating is limited to about 10 people, and the restaurant requires the full group to be present before seating, so please arrive on time if you plan to join the dinner.
6:00 PM – Movie Hoppers at Cinemark Carefree Circle XD and IMAX. PG comedy, 1h 45m. When scientists discover a way to transform human consciousness into robotic animals, Mabel uses the technology to uncover mysteries of the animal world beyond anything she imagined. Tickets are $6.38 in Standard Format Luxury Lounger seats in Row D and E.
Directions from dinner to the theater: Go north on Powers to North Carefree, enter the roundabout and go left, then follow around to the right toward the theater area. Parking can be scarce, so plan to arrive early.
Tickets: Pay Frances $6.38 (pay with Zelle, round down or up with cash) at dinner or at the theater by 5:55 PM. Unpaid seats will be released at that time. So it should be over by 8 PM and we could go out for dessert if everyone wants. This is a dry gathering.
