The Event Guide
• 4:44 PM | Meet and Mingle: Arrive at Frances’s home and prepare any food contributions you’ve brought to share.
• 5:15 PM | Homestyle Family Feast: John and Frances will provide pancakes and baked chicken. Guests must bring one generous, family-style dish (e.g., meatloaf, mac and cheese, or peach cobbler) to pass around the 20-person table.
• 5:30 PM | National Pet Owners Day Fun: John will facilitate a "Guess the Pet Owner" game; please text your pet's photo to the organizers before the event to participate.
• 6:15 PM | Patriots’ Day Commemoration: Witness a lantern-lit reenactment of Paul Revere’s ride and a dramatic reading of Longfellow’s poem to honor the historic night of April 18.
• 6:30 PM | Dessert: birthday celebrations for Flo Wyrick (celebrate with yellow cake with dark chocolate frosting) and for Joy Harvey’s birthday.
• 7:00 PM | "Antwone Fisher" Premiere: Gather for the screening of this powerful story about a sailor confronting his past to find his future.
Logistics & Requirements:
• Parking: Please park along the street and ensure neighbors' driveways remain clear.
• Seating: Due to the large family table setup, seating is limited to 20 guests; RSVPs are required.
• Meal Note: This is a "pass-around" style dinner intended to foster a homestyle atmosphere.
