Celebrate Our History with United We Rock at Rock Ledge Ranch on Aug 1, 2026, 2–8 PM, $5 admission for non-drinkers. Join us to "Party Like It’s '76" Collective Groove and WireWood Station celebrating Colorado’s 150th and America’s 250th anniversaries through live music and history. Dry gathering for WIH. Event Guide
2:00 PM | Grand Opening: Arrive at Rock Ledge Ranch (3105 Gateway Rd) to explore the grounds and vendor booths.
If you arrive early Ally Rivas suggested Grassy area near the historical houses, wagons, and farm equipment.
3:00 PM | Living History: Engage with actors and demonstrations, including blacksmithing and the historic General Store.
3:30 PM | Christine will be arriving.
4:00 PM | WireWood Station! Participate in western-themed activities such as calf roping, corn-hole, and hoop games. John will be arriving at 4 PM and dancing in front of the band.
5:00 PM | Music Showcase: Enjoy live performances by Collective Groove!
7:00 PM | Community Celebration: Gather for the final set and celebrate our city’s spirit.
8:00 PM | Event conclusion. Safe travels home.
Logistics & Requirements
Parking & Arrival: Use the main entrance at 3105 Gateway Rd. Please allow extra time for parking as this is a popular venue.
Guest Needs: bring lawn chairs, blankets, they made turn coolers away, only empty water bottles you can refill them inside. Bring a coat, as mountain weather changes quickly.
Christine said if you come early, you can park closer-limited parking. Instead of turning into Garden of the Gods Park where the gravel/dirt parking lot is, continue south on No. 30th & take the next Right on Water St (sneaks up on you). Then, turn Right on North 31st St @ Stop sign & follow around the curve. Park there & enter thru the back of Rockledge Ranch on the Right.
Meals: Explore 20 on-site food trucks for a variety of local dining options.
You can park at Coronado High school and there’s a shuttle.
Dogs must be on a leash. Only service animals inside historic buildings.
Important: This is a dry gathering; please be mindful of this as you enjoy the festivities. General admission is $5 for non-drinkers.
