WIH Family Thanksgiving Celebration Feast, Faith, & Fellowship

Thanksgiving Movie & football Night.

Join us for a dry gathering celebrating faith, fellowship, and gratitude with three turkeys, stuffings, and sparkling juices provided. Event guide
3:00 PM | Arrival & Fellowship: Arrive, settle in, and feel free to use the ovens while we prepare for the evening feast. Water will be provided; please bring individual carbonated water drinks if you wish. Frances and John will provide three turkeys with different stuffings (herb-seasoned, oyster dressing, sausage/onion/celery), and sparkling red grape juice in long-stem glasses. Please contribute a dish to share, grouped by category:
Recommended football snacks such as cheese and charcuterie boards, guacamole, potato chips with spinach dip, or crockpot meatballs, Fruit & Veggie trays.
Salads: Caesar salad, Waldorf salad, tossed, mixed green salad, fruit bowls.
Sides & Casseroles: Mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole (without marshmallows), green bean casserole, peas and carrots, Hawaiian rolls, Stove Top Stuffing, turkey gravy, and gravy mixes, fresh cranberries, jelly cranberries.
Desserts & Pies: Apple pie, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, sweet potato pie, Pumpkin Supreme Cheesecake from Village Inn, French vanilla, ice cream, whipped cream and Apple cider.

3:33 PM | Prayer & Thanksgiving Dinner: John and Frances will lead prayer, followed by our full Thanksgiving feast together.
5:00 PM | Movie Part 1 of the National Geographic miniseries Saints & Strangers (starting at 5:00 PM and ending at approximately 6:37 PM).
6:20 PM Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills game begins.
6:45 PM | Post-Movie Discussion: 60-minute discussion Part 1 (from 6:45 PM to 7:45 PM) focusing on two key themes: navigating deep loss and and the courage of cross-cultural peacemaking.
7:50 PM | Birthday Celebration (at Halftime): We will take a birthday celebration break (approximately 7:50 PM to 8:00 PM). Birthday cake to celebrate Michele Hayes (Nov 25) and Pamela Orcutt (Nov 25).
8:00 PM | Movie Part Two: John will facilitate watching Part 2 of Saints & Strangers, starting at 8:00 PM and concluding at approximately 9:36 PM, wrapping up around the same time as the Chiefs vs. Bills game.
9:45 PM movie & game over make sure to grab everything you brought as the event concludes.
