Leading with Moral Authority: Workshop with Nicole Derr

Details

We had such a thoughtful and inspiring conversation last May in our Leading with Moral Authority presentation. So much so that we wished for more time to work through some interactive elements. Well, that wish has come true! We'll be meeting IN PERSON to work through some activities designed to help us figure out how to lead with moral authority, particularly in environments where moral compromise seems to be the standard operating procedure.

It's hard these days to do the right thing at work, especially in the tech world. We're under constant pressure to just get to done at any cost, even when it compromises the sustainability of our products and organizations. We know that this type of short-term focus and extractive business model leads to organization failure, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. Once our organizations fail, our communities are not far behind. We really can’t afford to sit idly by and watch it happen.

You'll definitely want to be at this engaging and thought-provoking workshop, even if you weren't able to join us in May for the presentation. We'll identify signs of moral compromise in our workplaces, generate ideas for actions we can take to combat it. Then practice doing so in a safe and fun environment.

You will leave with a concrete plan for using your own moral authority to squeeze out some of the moral compromise in your workplace and the confidence to do so right away. And a full tummy. And hopefully a full heart, too!

Much thanks to our sponsor "Improving" for their generous support!
We will debrief and mingle over pizza and soft drinks.

Don't miss this opportunity to network, connect, share and learn!
