About us
Wichita Oasis is a non-religious community for people to come together to connect, be inspired, and feel empowered. Our main get together is on Sunday mornings and programming may include featured speakers, live local musicians, potlucks, service projects, game days, and more. The program starts at 11:00 AM, and people are encouraged to come half an hour earlier for coffee, snacks, and conversation.
Kid's Room. Two experienced and background-checked adults are ready to help make your child's experience at Wichita Oasis as fun and engaging as the main program.
Extension Room. For older kids and adults who don't require supervision but are not interested in the main program, the Extension Room offers a separate space to connect, play, create, and explore. Two background-checked adults will be there hanging out, so you'll never be alone. Feel free to bring a game, craft, book, or other activity to enjoy by yourself or with others.
In addition to our main program, we have a Secular Support Group that meets Monday evenings at 6:30 pm, Book Club on the last Sunday of the month that meets at 12:30 pm, and lunch outings once a month. You'll also see weekly Game Night events that are hosted online on Discord by our parent organization, The Oasis Network.

Beth Clarkson, PhD, Analysis & Statistics
Wichita Oasis, 2418 E 9th St N, Wichita, KS, USBeth Clarkson is an ASQ-Certified Quality Engineer with a PhD in Statistics. She has worked as a professional statistician since 1983, helping manufacturing and service industries through the use of quality improvement techniques, surveys, and statistical analysis of data.
She specializes in computing material properties, engineering design basis values, quality improvement, statistical graphics, and basic statistical analysis for research purposes.
She is Chief Statistician at the National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR); Senior Research Engineer and Chief Statistician for the National Center for Advanced Materials Performance (NCAMP); and Co-Chair of the Statistics Working Group and founding board member of the Composite Materials Handbook (CMH-17).
She consults in service and manufacturing industries – primarily in aerospace – in both white-collar and blue-collar environments.

Secular Support Group

The purpose of the Secular Support Group is to provide a safe, secular space where people can connect authentically with others, share their experiences openly, give and receive support, and strengthen their sense of belonging while learning practical ways to care for their whole selves.
