Welcome to the Raleigh-Durham regional chapter of Soaring Spirits International! We are an organization run by widowed people for widowed people. This is a social group, not a support group, although we do offer each other plenty of support.
We provide a place for you to be yourself and discover your new self on this crazy road of widowhood. We meet at least twice per month at local restaurants, parks, movies, plays, museums, and other fun events for fun, laughter, and camaraderie. We’re so very sorry for the reason you found us, but we’re really glad you’re here!

All widowed persons regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, national origin, race, religion, sexual orientation, or relationship status are welcome to attend any of our events. We do authenticate widowed status before opening up our group to new members.
