Welcome to Wild Edibles and Local Foraging Friends. This group is a space for anyone interested in learning about the plants and fungi growing right in our own backyards and wild spaces. Whether you are a total beginner who just wants to learn how to identify a few common greens or someone with more experience who wants to brush up on their field skills, we are glad to have you join us.

The goal here is simple: to get outside, share what we know, and learn from one another in a low-pressure environment. We plan to host casual walks, plant identification meetups, and occasional workshops where we can look at specimens together and talk about sustainable harvesting practices.
