HYBRID 3 day Qigong Retreat (6 hrs/day) KunLun BaGua Qigong-WGIII

Struggling with balance, or having enough internal energy to even stand up on your own without support? Do you feel sometimes, a lack of breath to that impedes basic movements that should be smooth?

Come for a 3-day 6 hours per day Hybrid Qigong Retreat to improve your balance, coordination, core strength, mental health and wellness during this special Summer Qigong Retreat. Per Chinese Medicine principles, the summer, is a good time with the warm weather to reset our immunity to strengthen our QI, (internal life force energy) to reach our health goals easily and smoothly.

Special characteristics of the Wild Goose Qigong system include the KunLun Bagua style of sliding steps to invigorate the Qi, and yet gently ease the body into greater inner strength and and physical core strength. This improves one's balance, and physical coordination to better spatial movement in our environment. With better inner strength, this helps our spine be more flexible yet strong so we have improved support for our physical selves, and inner Qi flow for greater mental clarity and emotional balance and inner joy. This helps the body move easily with smoother Qi Flow we will learn to "dance with gravity" so we shift weight, and our whole body movements can be light and smooth as in the joyful flowing movements of the Wild Goose Qigong.

This Qigong Retreat will focus on the Wild Goose III Qigong for it's easy to learn form with a focus on the KunLun BaGua section of the form. We will also use the Wild Goose V (Soft Palms) Qigong form as a teaching material for other aspects of the Wild Goose form system, from rhythm and pacing, to learning to lengthen and stretch our spine and with soft palms extend and contract the body easily so our Qi flows everywhere.
The 5 days retreat instruction will be interspersed with basic qigong movements and Chinese Medicine theories , meditations and practice of elements from other parts of the vast Wild Goose Qigong system, (WGIV, WGVI, WGIII, WGIX etc) to ensure an easy and smooth flow of qi. Beginners and experienced qigong practitioners of all levels are welcome!

Retreat Details:
When: Thursday - Monday 6/19-21/2025
Time: 9am - 4pm daily. Doors & zoom room will open / start 15 minutes prior for check-in and tech support and set-up.
Where: Subud Center 3800 Soquel San Jose Road, Soquel, CA

All attendees who are registered for the whole 5 days, whether in-person or virtual will receive recordings for the whole day's session, in-person / or in attendance virtually for attendance for the entire retreat. No recordings if only registered / and paid for part of the retreat.

Aileen Jong, LAc. Dipl. OM is an experienced Qigong teacher and licensed acupuncturist, teaching at the local Y since 2002. She has overcome immense health issues herself through her Qigong practice and enjoys sharing her passion of Qigong to help the community self-heal through natural methods.
