LIT FROM WITHIN - Embodied Photography & Branding

Do you tend to feel awkward when you're put on the spot?

This is a group activity for entrepreneurs, practitioners and creators who are building their online presence.

We are going to practice feeling more comfortable in front of the camera and while talking about our work.

Led by Lara Wilde, a transformational coach and Alexander Technique teacher who helps people move through the world with wonder and grace.

Together we’ll:
• Learn and practice simple tension-releasing techniques to use while speaking or being photographed
• Write a 5-part business conversation and practice it with each other
• Share photography tips for better shots with a cell phone
• Take natural photos of each other to use on social media

You’ll walk away with a more engaging way to talk about your work and a few authentic images to help you attract the right opportunities for your work.

What to Bring:

• Your phone with camera (fully charged)
• A notebook and pen (or your phone) for the writing exercise
• A simple idea of what you’d like to share about your work (don’t overthink it. We’ll refine it together)
• Clothes you feel good in (something that feels like “you” and you’d be happy being photographed in)
• Optional: a second layer or accessory (jacket, scarf, etc.) if you’d like some variety in your photos
• A willingness to play, practice, and support others
