Tired of playing the same old games?
I realized I was having similar interactions over and over with family, friends, and even strangers. The faces changed, but the patterns always felt eerily familiar and unsatisfying.
When the book Games People Play was recommended to me, I downloaded it that same day. My eyes were opened to the habitual games I’ve been playing, and the games I’ve been refusing to play (which is simply another game). It really explained why I was struggling in so many areas of my life.
Ready for a reality shift?
We’re gathering to explore the subtle, subconscious games we all play, how we structure our time, build connections, and very often sabotage the things we want most from our relationships and life without meaning to.
Some people don't believe in a subconscious, but I think we can all agree that we don’t always get the results we expect or want from life and we don’t exactly know why.
Drawing from Berne’s work, we’ll unpack the patterns that shape our relationships, self-image, and blind spots in a way that’s eye-opening and maybe even a little unsettling (in a good way).
After the discussion, we will play an outer game (like cards or dice) and watch the inner game unfold. As patterns show up, we will pause, unpack them together, and notice how chance, pressure, winning, and losing reveal more about us than we think. This is where we practice and support real connection instead of our usual patterns and scripts.
