Earthgirl Native Plant Walks & Garden Explorers is a community of plant enthusiasts who gather to visit local public and private gardens, nature preserves, botanical gardens, parks, and native landscapes throughout southeastern North Carolina. Together we'll slow down, observe the changing seasons, appreciate the beauty of native flowers, and discover the birds, butterflies, bees, and other wildlife that depend on them.
Our walks are relaxed, educational, and social. Along the way we'll identify native plants, discuss their ecological value, share gardening ideas, exchange plants and seeds, and learn from one another's experiences. No expertise is required—just curiosity and a love of the natural world.
