Dads Outing @ Disc Golf + Lunch (Buffalo Grove)

Come out and join some of your fellow Windy City Dads Group members for a fun DADS OUTING on Saturday May 16 for Disc Golf and Lunch to follow. This specific event is for DADS ONLY where we can hang out together, in a kid free zone, have adult conversations, etc.

Here's the plan... 11AM meetup at Willow Stream Park Disc Golf Course, located at 600 Farrington Dr, Buffalo Grove to play a FREE round of 9-hole DISC GOLF (aka Frisbee Golf), then lunch afterwards at the nearby Dengeos, located at 195 W Dundee Ave, Buffalo Grove.

Note: 1st Tee is located behind the outdoor pool area just left of the playground, the parking lot goes all the way back to the playground and 1st tee, parking lot entrance located at 600 Farrington Dr, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089. (Do not park off Checker Road, since that will be a long walk to the Disc Golf Course, use the Farrington Drive park entrace on the North side).

If you never played Disc Golf before, you definetly need to try it out. If you don't have any Discs then you can buy a beginer set on Amazon and most sporting good stores for about $40 or just bring a few frisbees for you to use.

Willow Stream Park is a great place for the whole family, they have nearby playground, bathroom facilities, bike/walking trails, large fields, plus a fairly easy beginner DISC GOLF course where the wind is often biggest factor. Course goes around central woods, but only one tree obstacle. Large, beautiful, well-maintained park.
