Wine for an Hour is a way of life. Sometimes you just need to "whine" for an hour to get through the tough times... I also enjoy puns.
My name is Natasha and wine is my favorite hobby. I created Wine for an Hour to help new and inexperienced wine drinkers get into the wine world. If you're wondering what makes wine so special, if you think wine is nasty or if you just want to chat about wine, join Wine for an Hour! There will be both wine education sessions and general hang outs.
I have a variety of certifications in wine, beer and spirits. I will explain how to correctly taste wine before every meeting, so you'll be a pro in no time, even if you're a complete beginner.
Everyone 21+ is welcome to join.
I attend wineries, wine tastings and wine festivals around Charlotte, NC. I'll let you know where I am planning to visit and if the event is free, paid or bring your own beverage/pay for your own beverage. Please let me know if you have any questions. I am also available for private and online events, as well!

Muddy River Distillery Tour
Muddy River Distillery, 250 N Main Street, Mount Holly, NC, USDistillery Tour is $10!
Join me in a tour of Muddy River Distillery. We will hear about their history, see how their products are made and sample 5 of their products! If you are on the waiting list, I'll probably still inbox you to let you know that you can come, as there is a lot of space.
Tour is at 1:45p. Please arrive by 1:30p at the latest. The tour will begin without you if you are late so I stress to come on time. I'll be there around 1pm, in the waiting area! I'll give a more detailed description of where I'll be seated on the day of.

https://www.muddyriverdistillery.com/tourDistillery tours are every Saturday from 1pm -3:15pm starting every 45 minutes: 1pm, 1:45pm, 2:30pm, with the last tour starting at 3:15pm.
Our distillery team will walk you through the production level showing you our processes of fermentation, distillation, and bottling. We will talk about our renovation of the Mount Holly Cotton Mill and how we restored the historic building into a modern day distillery.
NO RESERVATION REQUIRED. Please arrive 10 minutes before the tour and check in at the host stand
The tours are 21+ and require proof of ID when you purchase ticket. If you do intend to do a tour during your visit, please leave your pets at home as we cannot allow them in the production area per the FDA. The cost of the tours is $10 and comes with a shot glass and samples of our products.
Wine for an Hour is based on respect. Please respect your fellow guests and the establishment that agreed to host us. Everyone is welcome! You must be 21+. ID's will be checked. If you RSVP and cannot make it, please let me know or change your RSVP.
