This three-session workshop is designed for writers who are ready to take their passion for storytelling seriously and commit to their creative growth. Whether you're starting fresh, returning after a break, or finally ready to prioritize your writing, this workshop will provide the tools, inspiration, and support you need to begin your journey.
Each session will run from 1:30-3:30pm on Wednesdays, beginning April 16, 2025.
Cost: $150 for Manitoba Writers' Guild members
Workshop Facilitator is a certified high school English teacher with 16 years of experience. Trevor Martens brings a wealth of knowledge in guiding and nurturing new and seasoned writers. His approach is centered around creating a safe, positive, and encouraging environment for writers to explore and grow. He's been a developmental/substantive editor for the past 6 years and has been teaching workshops in the Winnipeg and Niverville area (and online) consistently for the past two years.
