Please join us January 24 from 2 to 4 PM at Artspace in the board room on the 4th floor for a workshop on memoir writing.
- What is a memoir?
- Different types of memoirs.
- Components of a memoir.
- How to start a memoir.
- Useful tips for writing memoirs.
Subsequent to a 30-minute presentation, we will engage some live memoir writing exercises, after which each attendee will have the opportunity to read their piece for comments and suggestions. A printed outline of the presentation will be provided to each attendee, with numerous references and links to helpful guides and websites.
Fee: $10 for Members, $20 for Non-Members.
