TUES FEB 24: “Wuthering Heights” at Gardens CMX Theatre & HH Brio at Mall

Maybe you have seen the sultry trailers to this very intriguing, and darkly romantic novel we read back in high school by Emily Brontë. It was a little bit of a shocking assignment to our young minds, but our teachers guided us through the emotions and the settings and the twists and turns of a subject that had to be difficult to teach to young teenagers . You can almost feel yourself back in the Moors.
The trailers have me very intrigued. I don’t think I quite understood what was going on in Wuthering Heights whebbi read it as a 14 year old in 9th grade, but it seemed dark and mysterious, and the characters were compelling and I sure wanted to be part of that story. Now, let’s enjoy a reduced price Tuesday at the movies for a midday showing of the 2026 remake of Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë. Then will move our cars over to the garden mall and meet up at Brio Italian for their wonderful happy hour.
