WWPB Books: Stranger in the Boat” by Mitch Albom & HH at The Cooper PGA Blvd

We love reading books and have always enjoyed the small books with big ideas of Mitch Albom. They are always imaginative and provocative for a good discussion. Let’s continue with this next book. I was able to start reading and found quite interesting. Strangers in the boat is about a wealthy yacht owner who wants to forge big ideas by inviting the top multimillionaires and billionaires around the globe, but when an unexpected blast casts everyone into the water, there are only a few survivors left in a rubber life raft and one stranger nobody knows, and who doesn’t have any scratches.

Is he God? Does he have power over our lives in our destinies? Is he altering the fate of those few survivors in the lifeboat? These are just a few of the questions we’ll talk about.

It started out as “Tuesdays with Morrie”. Author Mitch Albom continues to surprise us with new twists and thought-provoking imaginative ideas.

Let’s meet at The Cooper which used to be one of my favorite restaurants along PGA Boulevard in the PGA Commons. They are doing a wonderful happy hour with seven dollar glasses of wine and specialty cocktails also for seven dollars and several very reasonably priced happy hour dishes. Seating is first come first served and happy hour is from 3 to 6. So let’s try to grab a few high top tables or just sit at the bar and enjoy the conversation.
