Creating Comics is a monthly meetup, where we study the craft of drawn narratives with the goal of helping people create their own comics.

The Event 🧠

As comic creators, it's crucial to know what we can do to improve our storytelling abilities and engage our readers. But in order to do that, we must understand what exactly it is about comics that engage readers in the first place.

While it is hard to come to a definitive conclusion because humans are so confusing...new psychology research solves that problem. It highlights factors that engage readers in a comic so that we can use them to our advantage.

Don't worry, it's not as complicated as it may seem.
